How its made

Every piece begins at my kitchen table.

1. Inspiration

It usually starts with a walk in the garden, a colour I've spotted, or a memory I want to capture. I sketch my ideas in a little notebook I keep by the kettle.

2. Selecting Materials

I hand-pick every bead, pearl, and gemstone. I look for pieces with character — subtle differences in colour and shape that make each one special. No two are ever exactly alike.

3. Crafting

This is the part I love most. I sit by the window where the light is best, cup of tea nearby, and work slowly. Wire is twisted by hand. Beads are strung one by one. Knots are tied carefully. Each piece takes anywhere from 2 to 8 hours.

4. Quality Check

Before anything leaves my table, I inspect it closely. I check every clasp, every connection, every detail. If it's not something I'd proudly give to my own daughter, it doesn't go in the post.

5. Wrapping with Love

Finally, I wrap your piece in tissue paper, tuck it into a linen pouch, and write a little thank-you note by hand. Then off it goes to you.

Why Handmade Matters

In a world of fast fashion and mass production, I believe there's still room for slow, careful work. When you wear one of my pieces, you're wearing something made by real hands, with real care.
